  Sent as a graduate to the KPMG London office in 1979; then back to the Melbourne office from 1980 with a 9 month secondment to KPMG Indonesia in 1981, then transferred back to London in 1985 for 2 years. I resigned out of the London office when all the big accounting firms merged and suddenly found myself in an office of several thousand staff (not my ideal working environment). It was time to travel through Africa for a year.
