Within the asset management team, I worked on the Western Roads Upgrade (WRU) Project at Ventia. The WRU project comprised $1.8 Billion of asset stock, including roads, bridges, drainage and other open space-type structures. Ventia and Netflow operate and maintain 800 km of the arterial highway using the Department of Transports (DoTs) 750 PPP agreement. My role initially started with managing the Inspection frequency Key Performance Indicator (KPI) 3.1. My eagerness and team management skills were recognised, and I was asked to lead the Fit For Future Asset Inventory Program designed to bridge the information and decision-making data gap within the WRU Project. Throughout my time at Ventia, my responsibilities included: • Led a team of inspectors to complete and comply with KPI 3.1 and 750 PPP contractual requirements. This included completing a Risk Assessment of the Drainage Asset Class and developing a five-year monitoring program in the Asset Management System. • Updating and aligning the Asset Management Plan and the Code of Maintenance Standards with the required levels of service agreed by the State. • Configuration of the Asset Management Enterprise Software (Asset Vision) for all operation and maintenance tasks. This included standardising the 750 PPP Classified Routine Maintenance Job codes, asset hierarchy and asset information compliant with DoTs processes. • Led the Fit For Future Asset Population Program, which consisted of collecting, validating and assessing all asset types within the WRU network. This program required project management (MS Project), negation and internal and subcontractor collaboration.

I have worked with AECOM's asset management team on projects ranging from developing management frameworks to condition assessments and audit reports. Through my client-driven success and technical development of policies and frameworks, I was nominated by project leaders to complete the Project Management Course headed by AECOM. Some of the key projects I have worked on so far are: • Department of Transport and Infrastructure: ETNA Asset Allocation and Transfer Project: I aided in developing a Procedure and Implementation Guideline for the Allocation and Transfer of new and existing assets constructed as part of state-driven projects. This project required the management of expectations and comments from key stakeholders from the rail, road, water, and local government authorities. • Transurban: Asset Management inspections and support: Planned and coordinated surveys to evaluate site conditions and potential defects on the CityLink SoundTube. The project involved liaising with third-party contractors (Traffic management and Elevated Platform Suppliers) to complete the inspections. Further, I supported the development of Transurban's Asset management plans for their road and sign asset classes. • Parks Victoria: Significant Built Assets Monitoring Program: I developed a decision framework collaborating with Parks Victoria's asset management team to monitor their various asset classes. The decision framework was based on the lifecycle analysis of multiple asset types and the risk-based approach to prioritise inspection frequencies. Continued support of Parks Victoria's asset management team has led to the opportunity to complete their open space and built assets condition assessment over the coming year.

Guiding managed services clients to gain ownership of their asset stock through creating/reformation of their central repository to enable more efficient and effective outcomes. • Data collection and validation: Conducted a Level 1 visual inspection on the Northern Beaches Shire project for their Marine Infrastructure asset class. In addition, I trained subcontractors, for the Mansfield Bridge Valuations Project, on how condition assessments are to be completed for valuation purposes. • Software training: Completed training for internal staff and clients in Assetic specialised asset management software – myData, Predictor Version 5 and Assetic Cloud. • Statutory reporting: I have compiled asset condition process manuals for internal council use and external subcontractor use: Valuation methodologies and Detailed Financial Reports for auditing purposes. • Data management and analysis: Data cleansing, gap analysis, quality, and consistency for decision making and reporting. • Support all council asset managers, asset owners and operators: To achieve effective maintenance practices of assets. Complete end-of-financial year processes and maintain a future capital works plan.
