Pete attended my Kanban Leadership & Coaching Workshop. This intensive 3-day workshop is designed to prepare managers, consultants and change agents to implement and lead a process improvement change initiative using the Kanban Method. Kanban is an evolutionary, incremental approach to process improvement and change that is designed to minimize resistance. During the workshop Pete learned: the systems thinking approach to introducing Kanban; my psychological and sociological model for identifying, predicting and classifying resistance to change; advanced kanban system design techniques including advanced classes of service; metrics used with Kanban; management techniques and feedback mechanisms such as operations reviews and option theory. I believe Pete brings a lot of maturity and experience to his consulting work. I have a lot of respect for his ability and his approach and professionalism. Having completed the workshop, I believe Pete is now well equipped to lead successful change and process improvement initiatives with Kanban and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I was introduced to Pete in late 2006 when I was first getting involved in the agile consulting field. He struck me as being very intense, but also very knowledgeable. He also impressed me by how immersed he became in his client's activities. This impression has not changed over the years and I believe are some of his best qualities when compared with other consultants. Recently Pete and I had the opportunity to work together at a client. During that time I was again impressed by Pete's professionalism and work ethic. He leaves nothing to chance and is fully prepared at all times. What I didn't know prior to this engagement was how much Pete learns as he watches others - both students and other consultants. His continual thirst for knowledge and personal improvement in his field is one of the traits which truly sets him apart from others. I fully recommend Pete and his company Trail Ridge Consulting to anyone interested in organizational agility. Pete is already an acknowledged expert in the field with many excellent references and yet he continues to improve with each and every customer interaction. He has few peers in his knowledge of enterprise agility and would be an excellent consultant choice for any medium to large enterprise considering an agile transformation.
