Pete is a very creative and cagey designer and creator of software. He's very smart and very experienced, but he also knows how to listen to others. He also plays some mean celtic music.

SharpShooter Imaging is one of the premier souvenir photography companies in the U.S., serving over 100 different venues around the country and beyond. Clients include MLB, Sheraton Resorts, San Diego Zoo, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Georgia Aquarium, and Aspen/Snowmass, among many others. In my six years at SharpShooter, I oversaw the ground-up development of 3 major web e-commerce applications, and a resort kiosk system, accounting for millions of dollars in sales. At the peak, I led a team of 5 developers writing PHP, javascript, HTML5/CSS, and Python. We designed an Agile development cycle, working in MVC frameworks, and developed many photography-specific features and processes. Show less

Columbus Media bought TouchMedia, and retained me as the Software Engineering Director, until the division was dissolved as customers such as Tower Records and Blockbuster were scaling back, or going out of business. Net The World was a Dial-Up ISP that specialized in providing service to Macintosh users in the early days of the world wide web, and also provided website hosting and co-location services. NTW also opened and operated the first Cyber Cafe in Denver, called Cafe Netherworld, which closed its doors finally in 2010. We were an early-game player, and while not still actively pursuing clients, NTW still hosts websites for several clients, and provides email services for some of its original clients from 20 years ago. TouchMedia specialized in providing interactive kiosks for entertainment media retailers. The primary product was Touchstand, a kiosk for music and video retailers which allowed a customer to scan any product in the store and listen to or view samples prior to purchasing. At its peak, Touchstand had multiple units in every Tower Records store, as well as other retailers spread across the U.S. I was the director of development, and wrote the kiosk UI in its entirety, as well as coordinated the server-side API development.
