  Initially engaged to PM the build of a new Server Room within the Derby Campus and to consolidate two existing server rooms into it so that the old ones could can be demolished to support a redesign of the Campus. Activities including decommissioning, virtualising and remediation of servers/services to build clean, lean and structured environments to migrate. This also led to an additional project to provide a replacement, resilient, up to date network to handle all the data coming off the Aero Engine test beds for distribution to other Rolls Royce sites and clients throughout the world. Other Data Centre projects were to assess a mainframe with a view to re-platforming and moving out of a Data Centre in Gloucestershire plus the analysis of a Data Centre in Docklands looking to relocate the services.
