Peter's role within the Project Management team focused within the Department for Education framework leading on the delivery of 7 of the most technical and politically challenging projects in London. This involved management of the feasibility stage of a project, business case production, detailed design, contractor procurement, construction and handover of numerous primary and secondary schools across the capital.

Working under the consortium of Cascade, Jacobs are a key partner in providing technical advice on the Lower Thames Crossing. Peter worked as a construction consultant within the construction team at Cascade. This included construction logistics for the tunnel boring machines (TBMs), highway construction, marine transportation and structures design for the scheme.

As a key member of the Strategic Transactions team at SINSW, Peter was responsible for overseeing a number of Strategic projects within Sydney. There are numerous opportunities to create value around the development of new schools including the possibilities of functional integration, joint or full funding of a school and arrangements, as well as innovative contractual arrangements. SINSW were actively encouraging industry and its representatives to identify proposals that recognise the potential value of new schools in precinct developments.
