Involved in a diverse range of technical areas, including Corrosion of Stainless Steels, Liquid Metal Embrittlement of materials, and coated product development for Long Products (Rails, Plate, Sections, Tubes and Pipes). Also lead multi-national longer term European funded projects in, for example, Off-Site applied Intuescent Coatings. Finally, for a number of years I lead the R&D Coatings and Corrosion support projects at Scunthorpe and Teesside Works which were responsible for material and coating specifications. Show less
