Pete came in during an unexpectedly chaotic time in what has, traditionally, been a slower season for us. Due to an influx of projects and a diminished staffing situation, on-boarding or even basic training was almost non-existent. Pete jumped into a role that was quite different from his previous experience. But, he was quick to take direction, asked questions or requested guidance before it would have halted progress and was, overall, eager to do whatever was needed. He pushed himself to learn new skills, took dedicated steps to follow unfamiliar processes and made certain to maximize the effectiveness of his efforts. He was the first to offer help to others when he finished his assigned tasks or if he had a break in his responsibilities. He was an incredible asset to us and his knowledge, professionalism, and effort helped us out of an incredibly difficult predicament.
