I have had the pleasure of working alongside Pete at Pauly Rogers & Co for almost 3 years, and can say he is an outstanding individual to work with. Pete is organized, detail-oriented, friendly, and extremely hard-working. He sets out to get the current task on hand done efficiently and effectively, while managing a team, and working on future and long term goals and projects, all without breaking a sweat. Committed and professional, he is a leader by example, and always works to encourage learning, growth, and communication in a collaborative environment where those he manages feel valued and respected. Pete is someone that every team would benefit from in one way or another. Not only is Pete a hard worker, but he is personable and easy to work with and for, and clients and co-workers don’t want to work with anyone else. Accounting and specifically auditing work can be demanding; juggling travel and field work, a constant stream of technical questions via email and phone, and long hours can quickly show how someone acts under pressure. With myself seeing Pete work through such tasks and situations, I can say that he is a one of a kind employee and devotes himself to doing the job correctly and well, while working to find better solutions for the future. If I ever had a chance to work for or to hire Pete, I would not hesitate.

Pete served as an intern for the American Red Cross. During his internship he reviewed and documented our internal processes for our fiscal instruments. I am very impressed with Pete's ability to develop comprehensive and easy to understand documentation and processes. The products that he developed are being used and are allowing us to better account for our the instruments that are assigned to responders throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
