Depth – This is the one word that comes to mind when I think of Pete. On paper, he is a Relationship Manager. In a practical sense, he is a salesman. In a technical sense, he’s nearly a software developer and, in the most important way, he is a friend. Throughout my time working with Pete, I was repeatedly impressed. While he is mainly part of the sales/management team, I would be doing a disservice not to highlight his strong technical skills, including programming and development. He maintains outstanding knowledge in various broad reaching customizable build technologies. With his knowledge and successful track record, Pete has become a distinguished and remarkable professional with strong communication skills. In my experience, working with Pete equated to learning on a daily basis. He inspired me to become better. I remember him often quoting,

Pete lives a life seemingly punctuated with exclamation marks. I have never met a more enthusiastic, supercharged, and dedicated individual in my life. I had the pleasure of working with Pete during my time as a Technical Solutions Consultant at Objectif Lune/Upland Software. We would collaborate on sales calls, with Pete taking the lead as sales manager, and myself taking the technical lead. What stood out most to me in those interactions is that, while Pete is a fantastic sales person, as you would expect for the level and scope of the deals we worked on, unlike 99% of Technology Sales execs who

As an avid cycling enthusiast this has been my labor of love. What began as a wheel company has morphed into a more generic cycling focused entity. One of our current projects is an app to quickly find Strava segments near a users location where the KOM(Fastest time) is within the users FTP functional power threshold giving them recommendations for segments to try and take the top time. West Coast Regional Manager

Feb 2016 - Jun 2022
Major account business development and channels sales management for Objectif Lune. My duties center on business development and sales growth including building relationships and conducting trainings for both technical specialist and sales teams within each of our reseller channels. I manage both large print equipment providers as well as some of the largest office equipment dealers on the west coast. Training is multi faceted spanning from deep technical content through to high level sales training geared to C-suite engagement and closure pulling from Mastering the complex Sales and other strategy based content. In both cases, the they successfully learned to recognize develop and close output opportunities related to digital transformation including a hybrid of web, mobile, print and mail. West Coast Team Growth Stats: - 30% year over year growth for four consecutive years until COVID - First territory to start successfully moving our subscription based product line. - Achieved 40-50% subscription rate for sales in both 2020 and 2021 - First to successfully close multi year subscriptions - First to convert perpetual clients over to subscription model - Highest continued subscription renewal rates. - Most deals closed with no need for additional professional services. Sales engagements most often require a complex sale process involving a multi-silo sales approach addressing the needs of three to five different departments and assisting in developing an impact analysis for each to show return on investment to help reseller teams close the deal. My biggest joy in this role has been the relationships that I have been able to establish as a trusted partner and expert in our solutions. Its the biggest win when the end users comes back to thank all of us in the reselling team for making a difference in their business.

Wine Beer and Fine Spirits Manager - Certified Sommelier Level II
-
Jan 2008 - Dec 2009
I was very thankful to be offered the beverage management position while in the head server roll at Chinois, Wolfgang's French/Asian fusion concept previously located in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The roll put me in charge of managing a 1.5 million dollars worth of Wine Beer and Spirits. I was also in charge of creating engaging content for the beverage training program. In addition, to these requirements, duties included working floor shifts during dinner to meet and greet tables assist with any issues and spend time with any VIP client that were present for the evening.Having achieved my level II Sommelier certification I often assisted tables with full wine service which at the time included an elaborate priming ritual of detail preparation which often also included proper decanting procedures.

Banquet Manager - Synchronized Service Specialization
-
Jan 2008 - Dec 2009
While also handling the beverage management responsibilities for the restaurant I ran all onsite banquets. This role required special attention to the end to end process of greeting, seating, and serving large groups in a way that was unobtrusive so as not to interrupt guest conversations. As a particular accomplishment while in this role we took the banquet experience to new levels of excellence by offering synchronized service. This was an elaborate method of delivery where teams of servers move together to enter, encircle, individually place and clear each course. Precision was critical to ensure that that all allergies or special orders were delivered correctly during the drop. Of all of Wolfgang's restaurants that participated in the high end service offering our restaurant Trattoria Del Lupo was the only one to escalate the synchronization to include the departure from the table to avoid what was affectionately called the "GRENADE" exit where the servers appear to explode out in all directions with no cohesive order. Later we managed to roll out the same lever of service to the main dinning room. Although I heard that after I left things went back to more classic style of service although I believe they still roll out the sync service on occasion for VIPs.
