Working for one the best College groups in the UK to support the fantastic work done by all the teams in the Group and the equally amazing work of the Governors. This includes: ● Senior Executive team member and Designated Senior Post Holder as Clerk to Corporation ● Liaison and adviser between the CEO and the Chair of Governors on all board issues. ● Instigated new secure Governance portal ensuring swifter completion of papers whilst compliance against Articles and Instruments, with over eighty regular users and fifteen sub-committees and main corporation utilising this as single central record (SCR). ● Supported the Group Wide redesign of the Safeguarding function in line with KCSIE 2021 and updates 2022, resulting in 10% saving of staff and increased case capability of >20% ● Chair of Environmental and Sustainability group with mandate to reduce Carbon footprint whilst undertaking significant site improvements. ● Developed and implemented all necessary policies (>35) and procedures (>80) where there were gaps to facilitate management control and regulatory compliance. ● Regularly review operations to ensure that this meets required standards and recommend changes where necessary, resulting in “Outstanding” review from interim inspection and “Green” rating from external audit. ● Maintain an effective working relationship with all other directors to ensure that there is effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives. ● Function as the company’s main adviser on all issues relating to Governance or Compliance functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the Company maintains its competitive and legally mandated position, resulting in no significant breaches or cases.
