Papagenogruppen består af mennesker der har tidligere levede erfaringer med selvmordstanker. I samarbejde med Dansk Forskningsinstitut for Selvmordsforebyggelse (DRISP), udvikler Papagenogruppen en ny hjemmeside til mennesker med selvmordstanker, i håbet om, at det kan medvirke til forebyggelse af selvmord i Danmark. Herudover deltager Papagenogruppen også i adskillige andre projekter indenfor det selvmordsforebyggende område. Vi har bl.a. et sideløbende samarbejde med DSB, BaneDanmark og Livslinien, hvor vi anvender vores levede erfaringer til, at yde sparring i forhold til selvmordsforebyggelse ved togbanestrækninger og togstationer. Ydermere tager vi ud og holder oplæg for social- og sundhedsfaglige professionelle og andre med interesse for selvmordsforebyggelse. Show less

ambassador En af os - ONE OF US vision is to improve life for all by promoting inclusion and combatting discrimination connected to mental illness in Denmark. In the campaign, we express it in the following words: no more doubt, silence and taboo about mental illness! I am telling my own personal story for clinicians, students and everybody else. I had many exciting assignments through ENAFOS. Among other things, presentations for politicians, mothers' help, relative groups and professional staff. The professional part is what I am most passionate about. To pass on and train professional staff to improve their working methods and handling of the mentally challenged. I also Helped to establish permanent collaboration with the SOSU school AAbenraa. The collaboration involved the students, before they had to do an internship in psychiatry, having to hear a personal account from a person with a mental diagnosis, and then be guided in dealing with mentally ill and vulnerable people Show less
