Spending a week At the Clinical Anatomy Pre Health Initiative Program, I attended Anatomy lectures with Stanford SOM faculty, anatomy pro-section labs, learned about various health professions, and toured the hospital and medical school. I was taught clinical skills such as suturing, IV/Catheter insertions, intubation, and more. Alongside with diverse group of students, I am very grateful for this opportunity and all it taught me. • Receptionist
      • May 2021 - Jun 2021

During the Summer, I worked at NFO as a front desk receptionist. I utilized my bilingual skills and was able to be a bridge for Spanish speaking families who did not understand the dental terminology or insurance policies and help them better understand. In addition, I was in responsible for handling phone calls with patients and insurance companies, creating appointments/scheduling, working with TOPS software, greeting and making families that would come in for braces feel welcomed and a sense of belonging, and overall learned how to effectively communicate with my team in ensuring all of our patients were getting the treatment they needed to better their smiles and lives.
