  As copyright coordinator, I serve as staff advisor, and as a liaison with outside legal counsel, on matters pertaining to copyright house-wide. This position determines and clears rights for use, and maintains documentation pertinent to SMP intellectual property. This position processes external permission requests to use copyrighted material. This position also will assist in all aspects of operating the college division. This includes staff support in acquisitions, development, author relationships, editorial research, marketing/promotion, Web site and database development, and Professor’s Choice.
