As an educational leader, my mission is to maintain the focus on transformational learning experiences for every student. Fahan School offers girls an extraordinary home in which they flourish. Girls are cared for and educated in an inclusive, positive and dynamic school environment which values excellence, resilience and creativity. A rich and impressive history of educating and empowering girls who contribute deeply and authentically to the community, is paired with a sharply-focused eye on the future of education and work, and I was honoured to lead this school.

Years 11 and 12 Coordinator and Head of Pastoral Care (Staff)
-
Jan 2009 - Dec 2014
Years 11 and 12 Coordinator - I was responsible for all aspects of pastoral, disciplinary and administrative care of students in my designated year groups. This included implementation of student leadership and peer support programs, pastoral care program creation, innovation and implementation, building and maintaining a culture of reciprocal communication between staff, students and parents, curriculum camp organisation, year group assemblies, meetings and social functions, interview and selection of student leadership team, checking reports for accuracy and consistency and Year Coordinator summative report writing.Head of Pastoral Care of Staff – my pastoral vision for staff was to enable all staff to develop the talents they were born with to become the best they can be. This was crucial at a time of deep transformation within the school. Members of the teaching staff have needed to participate in the reinvention of our school, and this process has challenged many of them to reinvent themselves as models of teaching and learning that our students can look up to.
