I am currently working in a research project entitled "Individual Actors and the (Re-)Production of Conflicting Institutional Logics: Swedish Think Tanks Between Knowledge and Ideology" ["Mellan kunskap och ideologi: Individuella aktörers roll i reproduktionen av motstridiga institutionella logiker"], funded by the Ragnar Söderberg Foundation. Recently I have been running a research project on faterhood discourses in Russia (stationed at Södertörn University) and I have also been working in an evaluation project studying those participating in study circle activities organized by the Swedish study associations. I have previously been involved in a research project studying how Swedish study associations can be understood in relation to the concept of civil society. I have also published articles and reports on this subject as well as written on the subject of transnational cooperation between civil society organizations and the translation of ideas and practices. I have also been part of other research, and evaluation, projects on the Swedish study associations, as well as a project studying Swedish folk high schools and the relations between those institutions and their principals (in the juridical sense, i.e. not "headmaster"). Main research interests: Civil society, transnational relations and cooperation, dissemination of ideas, translation, organizational theory. Performing interview studies. Text analysis. Survey studies. Information gathering and analysis. Writing reports, articles, books, etc. Arranging international conferences. TEACHING: I am responsible for, and teaching at, several courses within the "Master Program in Social Work - Research and Development in Civil Society". I also manage courses directed at civil servants from state authorities and municipalities. I am also the main supervisor for a Ph.D. student. Show less
