While working for Aharai, a non-formal education organization that works primarily with children at risk, I gained valuable soft skills that helped me become an effective leader.Having worked in this complicated environment, I have been able to understand people at their core, practice empathy, constructive criticism, and have a deep understanding of leadership.I recognized a major problem after working for "Aharai" for two years. Students who begin participation in "Aharai" as early as the 10th grade do not participate for more than two years. Many of these students dropped out by the 12th grade.For this reason, I created the "Granite" program.
