Bio
Tim Laas-Nesbitt
To say that Peggy was central to the success of our business would be an understatement. Having only just joined the company when I started working with her, Peggy immediately showed that she had the resourcefulness, drive, leadership, intelligence, proactiveness, and diligence to thrive in a highly challenging business environment. I have worked closely with Peggy upon her joining Hale, and I cannot recommend her strongly enough. Peggy and I comprised a two-person team which set out to expand our Middle East-based company in Taiwan. Despite the challenges such a venture brings, we were profitable and delivered excellent service from the start, thanks in no small part to Peggy’s efforts. Nominally I was her manager; often, however, it might as well have been the reverse. While she was attentive to my demands and advice, she always took the initiative to come up with her own ideas, projects, and partnerships, so that regularly I would let her lead our meetings so that we could go through her to-do list. Not only did Peggy draw on her experience as a digital marketing manager to find creative ways to bolster our profile in a completely new market (and despite a delay in setting up our website that was beyond our control), she also displayed quick mastery over all other aspects of the business. Peggy’s natural leadership also expressed itself in her adaptability and her willingness to learn and fill new roles. Our two-person team had to wear many different hats to be successful - educator, business developer, administrator, and relationship manager, to name a few - and Peggy was highly adept at this process of adaptation, displaying excellent judgment as to what we needed to do at different times to drive the business forward. She created business plans and spreadsheets that proved extremely useful, and leveraged both her ingenuity and her ability to make new connections with organizations and people to widen our exposure. Her resourcefulness, meanwhile, shone forth in every aspect of her work. She sourced many leads by finding events and organizations to join and by hosting targeted
