As Project Manager in the Sponsorship Directorate I was in charge for developing a content strategy and production agency area to deliver a value-added service to sponsors; overseeing roles focused on creative, production, amplification, and reporting. At the same time, I liaised with the club's Digital management to more efficiently manage and activate the needs of partners, and support commercial conversations with prospects to help provide insight into the potential of Real Madrid's storytelling and content strategy to its audience. In addition to contributing to an increase in content-focused actives in renewals, I helped shape the way in which the club's digital assets are marketed in new contracts today. Show less

During my years at Microsoft I was part of the Digital Transformation undergone by football club Real Madrid showcasing the wide range of B2B solutions (Azure, Power Bi, Team Player Performance, Social Listening…) Microsoft had to offer the sports industry, whilst producing relevant content for the wider consumer fanbase audience. The immense reach that the combination of both brands generate on a global scale allowed me to develop consistent brand content campaigns to leverage consumer products (Xbox, Surface, Lumia, Cortana…) in more than 20 markets and measuring the social earned media generated in over 110 countries. Without leaving aside the philanthropic component that Microsoft has in its core, I managed the Real Madrid player Marcelo sponsorship creating a three year campaign which sought to generate awareness on the importance of helping others in need by narrowing the digital breach throughout the world. Both campaigns accomplished awards in different international creativity and marketing festivals (Effie, FIP, Publifestival…) Show less

The marketing department took the decision to create a specific area specialized on digital advertising in which I had the chance to have a determining role thanks to both my media planning and creative background. I had the chance to develop of number of digital campaigns that made use of inovating technologies to leverage different sponsorships in which Movistar was present, from the Yamaha Moto GP team, National football team or music festivals. In all projects I worked hand in hand with the sponsorship department to better understand and exploit the KPIs of each scenario. Show less

Besides getting to learn the vast features of planning and measurement digital advertising has to offer, I believe one of my proudest moments during this period was to open the corporate channels on all social media platforms at a time when the company had only approached it's clients on a one-way flow of communication.

      • Oct 2005 - Apr 2009

Working at one of the companies in Spain which most invested in advertising one had the opportunity to work on big campaigns which leveraged product and brand awareness. I was responsible for putting together and delivering the brief to the creative agency as well as supervising it's 360 adaptation to ATL, BTL, online, and direct marketing. This involved meticulous analisis of budget management and KPI accomplishment.

During my time here I was in charge of updating every LATAM market in which Telefonica operated on a weekly call around all the reports and news published around the influence of mobile antenas. This allowed me to get a taste of what it meant to work together with a number of markets. Less exciting was my task of recollect all the data on activities developed by the company in order to put together the Corporate Social Responsability anual report but gave me an inspiring vision on a different set of goals that a company embarks on aside from those purily business focused.
