Senior Project Architect

Involved in several small to medium scale residential and commercial building projects, spanning from new builds to refurbishments and throughout the full project life cycle.Main duties include:- Using BIM software to design and produce detailed drawings and models for several project stages from draft design to detailed construction documents.- Elaboration of proposal and project feasibility studies for clients and developers.- Organisation and submission of documents to ensure approval by all relevant authorities and Building Control, including coordination with other specialities (Structural Design and M&E Design).- Preparation and coordination of tender packs with information regarding design, materials and specifications, followed by client support during negotiation with contractors.- Assistance and liaison with contractor and other specialists during the construction phase to ensure compliance with architectural design, schedule and budget objectives in a project manager capacity.- Guidance and supervision of junior collaborators in diverse projects.

Joined the company as an architectural assistant and following the completion of the internship became a permanent member of the team. Worked in wide range of buildings of differing scales and functions.Duties included:- Conducting of surveys and documenting of sites in preparation for design stage.- Developing drawings and documents ensuring coordination with engineer projects to apply for Planning and following through with detailed drawings and specification for construction stage.- Prioritisation and organisation of daily project tasks to increase production and achieve design goals and schedule demands.- Preparing presentations for several competitions with sketch drawings, photomontages and 3d images.
