  The Customs department goal is to provide to the company enough versatility in order to be able to offer to the clients products completely customized, that will be able to cover the necessities of desing and performance that they are looking for.Therefore, in order to be able to offer to the client´s company those custom products, I lead a team formed by designers and technicians that, from the specifications of the client we are able to offer a customized product in very short lead time, and keeping the quality standards of the company.During the developing of each custom project, its mandatory a continuous coordination with different department such as: Quality Department, Purchasing Department, Production Department and Commercial Department.The purpose of the E.C.O (Engineering Change Order) department is to lead and manage the changes (in the bill of materials) that have to be done in products already in production. Managing these changes in a proper way, we can avoid future issues related with quality, mass production and to be run out of components.To get the E.C.O done properly, I lead a team of designers and technicians and that make possible to carry out the those changes in a fluid and organized way. Also I coordinate my department with other departments involved in the E.C.O like: R+D Department, Marketing Department, Purchasing deparment etc. This coordination is very important to get the E.C.O done without affecting the normal working of the company.   Based out of Flos Spain´s head quarters in Valencia, I worked as the link between the Engineering team in the United Estates and the Research Development (R&D) department in Spain, as well as the link between Spain and the Flos office in Shanghai, China. I was responsible for transmitting knowledge and know-how development in the Spanish headquarters to the expansion of business operations in Chine and the United States. More specifically, my duties included:- Serve as a project manager for the engineering team in the United States, providing support to Engineers in their technical questions.- Evaluate operations in order to formulate advice and recommendations to the R&D department in Spain for the development of new products.- Develop best practices and standardized procedures to assist both Spain and the United States in obtaining products with appropriate quality standards in order to get Flos´ products UL certified.- Troubleshoot solutions regarding the customization and installation of Flos products.- Serve as Project Manager for the team in China, assisting the office in assessing and resolving various claims from the company´s clients.- Resolve logistical issues related to the shipment of Flos products to the office in China- Supervise the quality of the products manufactured in China.   Project Manager Assistant in a construction site. I was working in FCC company in a construction site about the reparation of a High Velocity Train bridge. The budget of this project was about 43 million Euros (about 54 million USD). The main parts of the projects were: - Construction of four new basements for the bridge. The size of those basements were 28x28x5m. And each basement had piles of 30 m of length and 2m of diameter. - Construction of a concrete tunnel of 300 m of length. - Construction of a embankment with 30 m of high and a volume about of 800000 m3. - Restoration and environmental conditioning of the embankment and the places where the ground used came from. - Replacement and restoration of road used, including the pavement of some of them. My main duties as a Project Manager Assistant were: - Study of tenders, and negotiation with the subcontractors. - Control of measurements. - Monitoring the performance of the deadline of the earthworks - Collaboration in the elaboration of partial payments and in the negotiations with the government. - Budget control. - Elaboration of the production reports - Technical control of different parts of the construction site. - Technical and execution control of the reinforcement iron of the basements. - Technical and execution control of the earthworks.
