The master degree program included ten courses focused in power systems, transmission line modelling, electromechanical transients, electromagnetic transient analysis and a final thesis project which was a frequency domain based methodology for the simulation of modern power systems involving switched devices. The project name was: “Sample-Reduced Numerical Laplace Transform for Transient and Steady-State Computation of Switched Networks” which included DC/DC and DC/AC converters. • programming and simulation of switched networks in frequency-domain (FD) with Matlab. • programming and simulation of switched networks in time-domain with PSCAD. • FD approach to compute transient and steady-state responses of switched networks • represents a complete switched network by a series of two-port-based blocks Show less
