I had the pleasure of working with Pedro at Entegris in Burnet, Texas over the past year. Pedro is the kind of person to take assignments and make sure they get done to completion, never shirking deadlines or responsibilities. As chemists, Pedro and I worked together in the analytical lab where we supported manufacturing. When issues arose, he met the challenge and got things done. I remember Pedro taking the time to fully understand the instrumentation he was working on, specifically the ICP-OES. He learned how to optimize the instrumentation to get the best results, and even provided a training to the rest of the lab on how to correctly do preventative maintenance on the tool. He was a determined and friendly worker who provided help where he could, and was not afraid to ask for help himself. I appreciated his graciousness, continuously good attitude, and the respect he showed to others. He will be an asset to any team.
