I met Prof. Pedro Estrada in the early 2000s while I was completing my Civil Engineering program in the University of Carabobo, back in Venezuela, when he was my Professor for the Reinforced Concrete Design course. Then we met again during my first years as Junior Structural Engineer in SISMICA C.A., a local engineering consulting company also in Venezuela, between 2008 and 2010. I was involved in several design projects while he worked with them as independent advisor. I could consistently notice the absolute dedication and high-quality standards that he applies in all his tasks, both in the academic environment and in the consulting world.
