Molly is trying to help her sick father by becoming an expert fiddle player, hence the name The Blue Fiddle, but the obstacle for her is that she has to try to convince master fiddle player but grumpy old curmudgeon, Malachy, to help her. CINE4 is an initiative for the development of Irish language feature films funded by a partnership of TG4, Screen Ireland and the Coimisiúin na Meán along with the Section 481 Tax Credit from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. Inspired by true events, this film is about those struggling through pain, fear, guilt, and sorrow towards the hope that tomorrow will be just a little bit easier.
