Tererai Trent International Foundation

  Zimbabwe I am honoured to announce that I have been invited to join the Board of Tererai Trent International Foundation as Chairperson. I have been following the work of this organisation since 2017 when I first met Dr. Tererai Trent and I am so passionate about her mission to create generational change for children in rural Zimbabawe through investing in education. Since TTI foundation first began they have educated over 38,000 children and built 11 schools, receiving $1.5million from… Show more I am honoured to announce that I have been invited to join the Board of Tererai Trent International Foundation as Chairperson. I have been following the work of this organisation since 2017 when I first met Dr. Tererai Trent and I am so passionate about her mission to create generational change for children in rural Zimbabawe through investing in education. Since TTI foundation first began they have educated over 38,000 children and built 11 schools, receiving $1.5million from Oprah Winfrey to help build the schools as well as support from Kristina Karlsson, Marie Forleo and Elizabeth Gilbert. As Chairperson my first role is to help TTI to raise the funds to support 22 students to attend tertiary education. Supporting girls to complete their studies helps to provide a brighter future for them and the ripple effect impacts their whole community as well as future generations. We're calling for 20 Individuals to be our Baton Activators and help the TTI foundation with a special assignment to each commit to raising $15,000. After successfully completing the assignment, the 20 individuals will be invited to join Dr. Tererai Trent in Zimbabwe in July 2023 for an incredible 8 - day Awakened Woman Leadership Tour. A once in a lifetime experience to tour the schools, meet the students, see this work in action and then visit one of the most beautiful of the seven natural wonders of the world, the magnificent Victoria Falls!
