Our objective as the expert in Passive Fire Protection, is to support the market with the correct solution, while being commercially active. Selling solutions before products, while targeting growth in top line sales and company margin, yet controlling under pressure… Show more With responsibility for the Technical Construction business, my role requires me to lead and drive an multi-national, and culturally diverse, external sales time to achieve the common goals of the segment and the wider business. Our objective as the expert in Passive Fire Protection, is to support the market with the correct solution, while being commercially active. Selling solutions before products, while targeting growth in top line sales and company margin, yet controlling under pressure overheads. The second part of my daily activity is working with a small but very close internal sales support, marketing and administration team, as a team the responsibilities are to manage all internal and external customer needs - including quotations, order processing, dispatch and credit management. This team are also responsible for the marketing needs of the business, including Social media and website development. As part of Belgium based Etex company, Promat works closely with the market to provide fully tested solutions suitable for various applications. In order to understand the market need, a tight team and customer relationship is required- which I've personally had a quite an involvement through a focused Sales Excellence Program and an internally developed project and customer management system. My tendency has been to sell for today and worry about tomorrow then, however as a member of the Promat Strategic Management team, stepping away from today to review, and prepare for tomorrow has helped me personally develop alongside our business, in such a way that we are continually achieving our goals, in what can only be described as an unpredictable and turbulent Middle East market. Etex, and Promat Middle East has a dedicated focus on working safely, it is (and possibly should be at the start of this description) my duty, as someone the team look to as a role model, to always maintain a safe and risk free environment to work in for myself and for others.
