      My research interests include health inequity, diversity, culture, community-based participatory research (CBPR), and the social processes of public health practice. My research applied critical social theories and mixed methods to inform knowledge base and best practices for community-centered public health practice. My dissertation examined the contributions of group diversity and diversity engagement practices in CBPR partnerships using secondary mixed methods approach. As Graduate Student Researcher, I managed the development of a Community Advisory Board for an NIH-funded study on the impacts of neighborhood and healthcare contexts on the HIV care continuum, and conducted qualitative data analysis for an NIH-funded study on the quality of life among Asian American breast cancer survivors and family members.
