  This research position associated to the project "ACFs: Antibiotic’s Coordination Frameworks" was financed by FCT (Portugal) and allowed me to design, synthesise and perform antimicrobial activity assessments of new bioinspired frameworks containing antibiotics (BioMOFs). Mechanochemistry was selected as the main solid state synthetic technique, and powder and single crystal X-ray diffraction were used for the structure elucidation. Determination of minimal inhibitory concentrations, halo inhibition assays and general (eco)cytotoxicity assays using Artemia salina were applied to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of the synthesised compounds. During this period, the developed work was presented in national and international conferences in 14 communications and 6 scientific articles were published (so far). I consider myself as a good team member (responsible and organised), a positive and persistent person. I believe I have the necessary skills to be a highly motivated team member to collaborate and perform the tasks that would be assigned to me. My favorite recipe is to join chemistry & biology.   I have been at Lund University, Sweden for short periods of time to perform specific tasks of my doctoral project regarding the Chemistry of Natural Products, under the supervision of Professor Olov Sterner. Besides the great impact on my doctoral studies, this experience allowed me to expand my written and oral English.
