    • Founder-Project Manager
      • Mar 2014 - Dec 2019

During my 5 years as the founder and CEO of Ozran Scientific, I completed successful projects, including FEED and EPCM projects, with a total turnover of more than $5 million and zero incidents. The marketing and project scope has expanded beyond Australia's borders, reaching Asia and Europe. Key projects: • Pilot Unit Manufacturing of a New Particulate Treatment Technology with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) • Collaboration with Continental Emitec (the second largest global OEM manufacturer) in Exhaust Treatment • Collaboration with Airepure Air Filtration System developing a joined product • Building a multistage pump for Master System Technologies Multi-stage Pump station Project in Papua New Guinea (PNG), including project management/planning, OPEX, selection of control valves, pump and pipe sizing, hydraulic calculation, P&ID, equipment datasheet, control philosophy, process simulation, preparation of the technical proposal, HAZOPS, drafting of purchase orders, assembly, cold and warm commissioning. • Professional consultancy for production of Thermal Energy Storage System (TESS) Developed an FEA for TESS using ANSYS and COMSOL with modules of thermal, solid mechanics and fluid mechanics to boost efficiency. - Serve as a part of the team granted Kanthal® Award 2018. • Modelling and Mechanical analysis of Vacuume machine for VAC Truck Industries This project is about developing a new design for skid and tank of excavator machine manufactured by VAC Truck Industries. - Stress analysis with FEA of Tank on Skid as per AS1210 and AS3990 design code. List of Projects: • Newcrest-Cadia Valley Operation (CVO) underground gold mine The objective of this project was to monitor Dust/Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) levels in the mining process and prepare gap analysis to minimise influence of mining process on environment. I was responsible for conducting personal monitoring, ambient monitoring and fleet quality assessment, collection and analysis of data and report preparation. • Donaldson filtration system The objective of this project was to improve filtration efficiency for Donaldson filters by adding an ultrasonic agglomeration unit. For this assignment, I was responsible for computational modelling and designing of Ultrasonic agglomeration section. • Dust removal pilot plant The objective of this project was to develop a method for Dust/DPM filtration. My responsibility for this project was to lead a group of engineers and technician. For this project, I prepared a project plan and designed of a wind tunnel and an ultrasonic field, supervised assembly, commissioning of operation, test procedure design and analysis of test results. Using that pilot, I invented a method and a process for agglomeration of fine particle which is patented. (Patent WO2014138775A1) • Anglo Longwall coal mine The objective of this project was to improve the efficiency of longwall coal mine extraction by removal of coal dust during the extraction process. In this project, I was responsible for detail design of dust extraction unit. This unit included an inertial separator, air drag fan and a shell. For that purpose, different modelling software such as ANSYS and COMSOL was used. Show less

List of Projects: • Biomass processing and lignin extraction from Sugarcane Bagasse In this project, I extracted lignin by a pressurised heat reactor. The lignin was produced using Soda Process. The extracted lignin was used for different projects such as making biodegradable films for packaging. • Film Blowing In this project, I produced various blends of biodegradable films. Those films were made generally from blending of lignin with some petrochemical plastics such as different grades of Polypropylene (LDPE, MDPE, and HDPE) and Polyethylene. For this purpose a single screw extruder with three phases of heating were used. Then blends were quenched and turned into films by a blow moulding machine which was at UQ. Additionally, I analysed those film by measuring thickness and evaluated their mechanical properties by elongation tests. • Sugar analysis During the period I worked with CTCB as postdoctoral, I worked in chemistry lab to characterise various samples of syrups collected from a sugar plant. The aim of that project was to provide information of the boiling characteristics of syrup to produce high quality sugar. For that project, I collected more than 100 samples of syrups from industry and analysed the non-soluble particulate matter (PM) of those. Also, I used different types of additives to lessen non-soluble PM contamination and investigated on its influence on precipitation of syrup while processing through syrup boilers. Show less

BASF is the world’s leading chemical company. It turns 150 in 2015. BASF had sales of about €74 billion in 2013 and over 112,000 employees as of the end of the year. I worked with BASF, specifically with BASF Coatings AG, for four years before I immigrated to Australia to study on my PhD. During that four years, I worked in Application laboratory, Production laboratory and Customer technical support. My responsibilities and achievements were included but not limited to: • Application laboratory – Munster Germany • Production laboratory – Wurzburg Germany • Sales and Customer technical support As a coating expert I worked in different BASF clients’ plants to support sales of BASF products to them. Some of those clients are listed below: - Ford Company in Saar Luis, Germany - Volks Wagen (VW) Company in Emden, Germany - Daimler Chrysler Benz in Sindelfingen, Germany - Oyak Renault in Bursa, Turkey - Iran Khodro in Tehran, Iran ( I was sales and coatings technical leader of BASF group in this plant for two years and half) Key Achievements: I was successful in: • Implementing safety improvements that resulted in reduction in workplace injury reports. • Streamlining coating processes with counter measures to improve product quality and reduce product defects. • Supporting clients in product use through scale-up, trial runs and commercialisation. This helped to increase market share of BASF products. Show less
