I had the distinct pleasure of working with Pawel at Teledyne RD Instruments on cutting edge new product development. Pawel ground-started a new product line for Teledyne in the area of underwater acoustic imaging. He lead a small rapid development team, and drove a next generation high resolution, very compact, hand portable multi-beam imaging system from concept through to a highly successful market delivery, This product has set a new price/performance point in the market that has yet to be matched. A significant accomplishment that also set a new standard for Teledyne RDI in engineering product development execution. Pawel is highly differentiated in his ability to not only initiate and drive innovative product concept and development that is aligned with business strategy, but also highly skilled in developing key differentiating IP in the area of DSP algorithm development himself. Pawel is also a great leader of engineers, demanding the best out of people, but understanding the huge value of a solid unified team. Pawel truly has a passion for what he does as a professional at the top of his field. He is one of the unique few I have worked as who is relentless in bringing game changing product to market with a "Can-do, Will-Do, Done!" mentality. I highly recommend Pawel as an engineering and technology leader, and would welcome the opportunity to work with Pawel again.

If you need a detailed, organized, and capable harware, software, and systems engineer and R&D lead, Pawel is your man! I have worked with Pawel in two different companies - by happenstance. Pawel and I first met when I joined RESON (now part of Teledyne Marine), where Pawel was one of the "go To" engineers. When you needed something, he was your man! Pawel took an opportunity to help Teledyne enter the multi-beam market and was highly successful in his work in getting new systems onto the market that had an impact. I joined Teledyne RD Instruments later as Sales Manager and later Director of the Navigation Product Line. Though Pawel and I did not cross paths directly, I had direct interest in his work given historical product interest, and I was part of the same overall group in which Pawel worked. We had many discussions on market and product philosophy, capability, and requirements. What was amazing is that Pawel always knew, almost instinctively, the "How" to accomplish something, and more importantly, always grasped immediately "Why" something was important. Pawel can see the big picture through the infinitesimal details. I truly believe there is not a task or concept that Pawel could not tackle. If I were in need of a good R&D or systems engineer who can also work with all the sub-disciplines in an engineering team, Pawel would be one of the first I turn to!
