  I was happy to approach the Warsaw University in August 2008 and present the idea of teaching Danish to Polish students within the open framework of Warsaw University Language Centre. The project took off in October 2009 and went on til September 2013 when I decided to leave Warsaw and start a new career. It was my pleasure to teach Danish and Norwegian as foreign languages at beginner and intermediate level to more than 300 students within these years.   Working for the Danish Ministry of Education and Innovation was a great honour. For 4 years I enjoyed promoting Denmark, Danish language, Danish culture and history among Polish students. I urged and encouraged them to start a journey up North by acuiring language skills and cultural knowledge. It wasn't easy to start with, but it was always fun. Many people went with my recommendation to summer school courses to experience the land of HC Andersen and Karen Blixen.
