I carried out some work experience at Bevirs Law which enabled me to widen my knowledge of the legal profession. During this time I was enlisted with multiple tasks which involved prepping and holding client meetings, organising and sorting through various files, and working with a wide range of people. I also had the responsibility of analysing legal contracts to detect any errors or inconsistencies - this was a very essential job as it allowed for contracts to be finalised if no errors were found. This work experience allowed me to enhance my practical working skills within the practice of law, which has benefited me greatly.

Throughout my part-time job I was able to gain excellent customer service skills, as well as improve my organisational and time management skills. In addition to this, I greatened my communication skills which enabled me to win staff member of the month numerous times, and various up-selling competitions. During my time at Tenpin, I was trained to work on multiple departments, e.g. reception, the bar, and hosting which increased my responsibilities. This allowed me to become a strong team player, but also made me able to work independently to the best of my ability. Juggling both my school studies and part-time job was a challenge sometimes, especially when working long shifts throughout the week, and 40+ hour weeks in half-terms. However, by keeping consistent and working hard I made it both manageable and enjoyable which led to great results in both school and work.
