- Developed guar-gum based biopolymer binders with high elastic modulus for silicon anodes and demonstrated their structural stability as compared to low elastic modulus PVDF binder- Studied the positive effect of pulsed current electrodeposition technique on the first cycle irreversible loss oberved in thin-film silicon anodes- Designed and fabricated novel mattes of sulfur-polymer wires that can potentially be used in flexible wearable batteries - Investigated the use of the Lewis acid-base interaction between Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and sulfur to prevent polysulfide dissolution in lithium-sulfur batteries - Developed composite polymer electrolytes with superior ionic conductivities and mechanical properties to suppress the dissolution of polysulfides in lithium-sulfur batteries and prevent dendrites in lithium-metal batteries- Designed and developed a coin-cell architecture to study the effect of dopants on room temperature ionic conductivity of lithium phosphates and lithium silicates using AC impedance spectroscopy
