At Medoo, our mission is to help people design and live their best, most intentional lives. We seek to create more “Aha!” moments in people’s lives through encouragement of self-analysis & insight. We are getting started by building specialised tools that support the foundational elements of the coaching process. AfterWork Ventures is a community-powered VC fund that invests in pre-seed and seed stage startups in Australia and New Zealand. In pooling our diverse skills, functional knowledge, and networks, we are able to punch above our weight in the quality of our dealflow, the incisiveness of our due diligence, and the breadth of support we provide to our portfolio companies. As a Fellow, I support the investment team to source and evaluate investment opportunities, and pitch in to help AfterWork’s portfolio companies. Website: afterwork.vc

Tiliter's mission is to Accelerate the Democratisation of Computer Vision. At Tiliter, I helped design and launch the in-store detection and analysis (hardware + software) product, going live in multiple stores of one of the largest supermarket chains in the world, all in less than 4 months. Working in deep tech: AI, computer vision hardware and software, at a growing startup, selling products to some of the biggest companies in the world was one of the most fun experiences I've ever had. Canva's mission is to empower everyone to design.I was fortunate to experience the hyper growth phase at Canva, and led cross-functional groups & teams across many parts of the business: payments & subscriptions, referrals, security and customer insights. In the process, bringing local payment methods to millions of Canva customers in South America, Asia & Europe, launching mobile subscriptions and launching a referral & affiliate program (both of which have since brought many millions of additional customers, and hundreds of millions in revenue since), growing the security team, achieving ISO27K compliance (necessary to grow the Canva Enterprise product & support security best practices) and introducing automation to the customer support process. Being part of the core Canva Engineering Leadership team of 6, I led the efforts to revamp the Canva engineering values. Contributed to backend architecture decisions through being part of the Backend Foundations (Backend Architecture) team. Partnered with the Internal Leadership Coaching team to design and launch 'Unstoppable Me', a program aimed at creating pathways to leadership for underrepresented groups in engineering. In its first two iterations the program had 25 women engineers participate, and has since helped many more engineers.
