I worked in the High Severity Unit between the Arizona bar examination and accepting a position as an associate attorney. In the High Severity Unit, I evaluated complex general liability and liquor liability claims involving serious injuries and fatalities with policy limits ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000. Between November 2001 and July 2003, I worked in the Transportation Department where I evaluated injury and property damage claims arising from commercial trucking accidents. I also worked in a unit handling claims that arose from a high profile book of business, which required exceptional customer service and communication skills.At SIC, I drafted numerous large loss reports and presented cases during round table discussions on liability and damages. I also represented the company in mediations throughout the country.
