Observer design for nonlinear systems. In many applications, estimating the state of a dynamical system is crucial either to build a controller or simply to obtain real time information on the system. A lot of efforts have thus been made in the scientific community to find universal methods for the construction of observers. Although very satisfactory solutions are known for linear systems, nonlinear observer designs still suffer from a significant lack of… Show more Observer design for nonlinear systems. Vessel steering control for marine seismic campaigns. I applied reverse engineering on recorded steering data to understand better how vessel trajectories are controlled (autopilots, autotracking). Those devices are indeed "black boxes" which are known only through the specification sheets. Based on the results and my comprehension of those systems, I created a Simulink model simulating the behaviour of a CGG vessel. Vessel steering control for marine seismic campaigns.
