Paulina is a creative and dedicated student advisor and recruiter. She develops strong relationships with incoming and first year students by providing constant support in-person and online, answering their questions and ensuring they know what to realistically expect as they embark on their post-secondary journey! Aside from advising, Paulina brings great event planning and event management skills to her role, developing creative designs for invitations and sponsorship packages, and ensuring that all details are seen to. I would recommend Paulina for any high energy, active role that deals with events or first-year students!

Paulina is a creative, strong designer, with excellent organizational skills. In working at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University, Paulina's primary tasks were: - public events such as Open House and Student Showcase, which annually attract thousands of visitors, feature dozens of projects, and have over 100 volunteers helping to run each event. Paulina was instrumental in ensuring these events were staffed with well trained, enthusiastic, and able volunteers; in organizing the logistics of getting the right sensor, camera, or circuit board to the right team in the right place at the right time; and, for managing the visual design of information to direct, inform, and inspire guests in attendance. - recruitment, outreach, and communications: for example, Paulina crafted and delivered customized presentations to different age groups with different interests. In all these interactions, she was able to customize content for the intended audience, and was able to deliver a compelling and interactive presentation that encouraged future students to learn more and to stay motivated in their education. - website: Paulina assisted greatly with the process of merging two existing websites (for two now-merged department's) by ensuring that content, navigation, flow, and look and feel were consistent in the newly merged site. Paulina wrote new copy, cleaned up existing text, created new visuals, and provided suggestions for improvements to site navigation and design. It was a pleasure to work with Paulina. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like additional details on her work with the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University.
