In order to reach this objective, the specific objectives are: 1) to implement an e-platform with access to initiatives and learning information materials that have been identified and collected in the course of the project, especially concerning market conditions, policies and administrational settings, entrepreneurship skills and initiatives, the mind-set, skills and knowledge to generate creative ideas; and finally about support programmes for immigrant entrepreneurs; 2) to summarize the findings in a “Catalogue for Immigrant Entrepreneurs” that will give an overview about the current situation of the specific project environment in the partners’ countries, and present the initiatives, projects and materials with explanations in all languages of the partnership; 3) to implement also an online interactive forum for networking, exchange of experience and good practice that makes use of Skype’s real-time translation in 8 spoken and 50 written languages, thus breaking down language barriers between users from different countries, and supporting ideas, foster exchange and assist initiatives that build both livelihoods and a sense of normality.

A necessidade de compreender, delimitar e harmonizar o conceito de blended learning no panorama actual do Ensino Superior, resulta do pressuposto de que muito embora proliferem descrições de práticas e modelos para a sua operacionalização de reconhecida qualidade - tal como sucede com outros conceitos sob alçada da educação a distância - a reflexão teórica é ainda insuficiente. In this context, the evaluation of pedagogical approaches, i.e., of how individual teachers choose to integrate technology in traditional environments, assumes a core role and helps in the decision-making process supporting the design of learning environments that integrate the best from in-presence and virtual classrooms. Assuming the effective needs that teachers have in Web technologies integration in the teaching and learning process, this special issue intends to present different technology-mediated learning cases that resulted from research, interaction with peers, and personal experiences that will lead to the success of learning mediated by web technologies. The reutilization paradigm is a fundamental concept for the sustainability of the teaching-learning computer-mediated process. Thus, the objective of this special issue is to document digital teaching strategies to provide teachers with concrete examples that can be incorporated into their learning environment and lead to time and effort savings in the development process of this environment.
