Paula has been working for Disashop for almost four years in charge of the HR Department. When we hired her, our Company was in a process of deep transformation due to managing and business strategy changes so we needed someone to lead the HR Department who was really experienced in recruiting and training tasks and that could also assume the resting administrative and legal issues involved; we knew for her previous jobs she could handle this new challenge. During these years Paula proved she was the right person helping proactively to build our current personnel structure; she has worked with the department seniors to design the different profiles needed, establishing agreements with external consultants for recruiting, and leading and supervising the recruiting processes. The training plan for each department and job was also one of her achievements, including the planning of each training, either with internal resources or through external consultants. She settled systems to measure the working climate and to ensure that the direction of the company knows about the thoughts, complaints and worries of its workers. She was also the person in charge for all the administrative matters concerning personnel: Legal contracts, Payroll, Social Security, etc. This is a really sensitive field as it requires an absolute control of deadlines and forms; for me as a Managing Director is really important to know that all these issues are in the proper hands. In addition to this, she provided advice to managers on labour law related matters, and in the field of Occupational Safety & Health Paula is a really positive person, always looking for solutions to the problems that normally come in a company of over 100 employees; on the human side she cares about each of the employees of the company without losing the sense of being aligned with the main targets of the firm. She is not afraid of taking new responsibilities in her area of knowledge and so she has volunteered when required to new tasks. She helped the Company in the transformation into what Disashop brand is now, a multinational group with a strong personnel structure in five different countries in complete compliance with regulations in working matters, and with the organized channels to keep the personnel motivated and productive. I have no doubt that Paula right now can be a key person to any organization willing to bring a positive change to its HR department due to her broad experience and personal skills.
