  Receive the checks that come in the mail and figure out which account they go against. Do the data entry in the computer to record the amount received against the right invoices and accounts. Call customers who are late in paying and ask them about the status of their next payment. Use the computer to create monthly statements of account to mail to customers. If the customer claims that they have been billed wrong, help to correct the computer data by processing a credit and/or re-billing so that the customer is able and willing to pay the bill. Show less
