Administrative Assistant

May 2012 - Oct 2015
In my role as the Administrative Assistant, I was responsible for a number of bookkeeping and administrative tasks. I prepared deposits, counted cash and cheques coming into the organization, kept proper records of the information, prepared bank deposits and issued receipts. Using Sage Simply Accounting, I recorded the accounts receivables and administered the monthly auto-withdraw payments from our clients. Each spring, I was responsible for managing registration, which included setting up an on-line form, sorting and filing all incoming registration forms and payments, keeping track of missing documents and payments, and contacting customers when necessary. I also managed the musical instrument inventory and rentals, maintaining records of instrument rentals, conducting regular inventory checks, and managing rental payments. Through this role I re-organized the numbering system of the instruments to better track the inventory. I showed a great deal of flexibility in my duties, completed other miscellaneous tasks as directed by the administrator. I created various forms and concert programs, assisted in office organization, and posted displays on the bulletin board. Show less
