Bio
Nicholas Gautier
I first met Paula Merrifield as a student at Cameron University through the Student Support Services program. At that time, I was a Freshmen taking remedial and college level Writing courses that was a bit to challenging for me. My writing skills was not quite at the same level as my peers, I also had trouble finding my writing rhetoric – my tone. Almost every week, I would meet with Paula, she would help guide my writings to best fit my style – while also steering me to say what I truly wanted to convey on paper. Paula really helped me to shape my writing skills, and also – to get through those writing courses with flying colours. Moreover, even after I had finished my writing courses – senior year, there was one personal writing assignment that I needed to complete and required a lot of attention, my first professional resume. My go to person that was dependable and trustworthy, was Paula. Thanks to her dedication, caring attitude, and trustworthiness, I always knew that I could depend on her help. If I had not ever met Paula, I do not know where I would be at this point. Thank you so much, Paula. I hope you the best as you continue your journey!
