I am honoured to return to RASL to serve as a Victorian Government nominee on the company's Board of Directors. I hope that my many years of experience as RASL's Principal Scientist and my continuing role supporting the pharmaceutical and allied sectors will aid the continued growth of the company. RASL, along with its specialty testing business HASTA, continues to be recognised internationally as a leading forensic racing chemistry and drug testing service provider, as well as an R&D house in the area of compliance testing for supplements and nutrition. The core business is underpinned by state-of-the-art facilities, highly experienced staff, and a dedication to innovation that puts the company at the leading edge of its field. RASL is an important part of the science infrastructure in Victoria and continues to be a significant contributor to the development of chemical analytical techniques and the measurement of chemical and biological residues of clinical, veterinary, and forensic importance.

Centre Manager - Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre

Nov 2016 - Present
I am excited to be leading the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC) based at Monash University in Parkville. Our Centre provides technical advice, scientific and formulation services and training opportunities for the local pharmaceutical and allied manufacturing sector using approaches to ensure excellence in design, practicality in application, best-in-class for their innovation and of economic impact in their delivery. My vision for the Centre is that it remain a dynamic training ground for innovative thinkers and doers that aspires to collaborate with all Victorian pharmaceutical and allied manufacturers to optimise current products or processes and to develop new products that will sustain the sector into the future. I have the honour of leading a team that approaches its task by maintaining advanced industry specific skills and applying a mix of conventional, creative and disruptive techniques for its collaboration partners. The role at MMIC also provides me with the opportunity to participate in training new scientists to be industry ready and to mentor existing specialists to achieve the most for their careers and their organisations.
