    • Financial Controller and Group Analyst
      • Oct 2019 - Present

In early 2017 Sci-Fleet hired a Group Analyst to help with reporting across the Sci-Fleet Group, which now includes several dealership interests across Australia. In October 2019 this position was vacated and I absorbed the role in addition to my other responsibilities. The new responsibilities included maintaining and expanding on the systems that had been built when the Group Analyst had come on board. Between a variety of programs and software including Oracle, Alteryx and Tableau, the group now has everything from dashboard reporting through to detailed P&L statements that are comparable amongst the different companies across Australia. In June 2017 Sci-Fleet Motors purchased the majority shareholding of Mount Gravatt Mazda, at which point I took on the Financial Controller role in addition to by current responsibilities. The purchase of this business also included the sale of another one of our branches and I was heavily involved in both transactions. The FC role has given me a chance to lead a small admin team, providing day to day support as well as implementing new processes that lead to the team spending less time on mundane and unproductive tasks. Collectively they have developed new skills and now work much more autonomously. Show less
