I once shared with a colleague that what I am today and what I have accomplished in my career I owe to brilliant leaders that I have been blessed to have. Brilliant, caring leaders like Paul. He is kind, supportive, and leads by example. No matter how busy the event life is, he always takes the time to listen. He cares for us as individuals and mentors us so that we are equipped to grow and reach our fullest potential. He is a compassionate leader and cares about the morale of the team. The time I spent at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC is one of the happiest periods in my career and that is because Paul created an environment of positivity and genuine caring. We were a team that invested time to build relationships and relied on each other's talents to create a great synergy. During his leadership we achieved some of our highest customer and employee engagement scores. As an event professional, I learned so much from observing how Paul takes care of clients, his attention to detail, and how he approached each program uniquely and creatively. I hope to have the honor of working with him again.
