Paul Stickley
I first worked with Paul when I graduated from University and joined a team working on the restoration of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Paul was the Senior Technician managing all of the detailing for the building and he was my mentor. I consider myself to have been very fortunate to have had Paul's influence at such a early stage of my career. At that time drawing boards were still used for drawing production, I believed myself to be an excellent draughtsmen until I met him. Clealy now this is not the industry norm, but Paul has applied the same meticulous detail to AutoCad and other Cad packages with equal effectiveness and precision. He was patient, knowledgable and extremely helpful and it was due to this that I was able to develop my career and grow quickly, for which I will always be grateful to him for. Some years later when an opportunity arose at a firm I was working for, I was able to recommend him for the position, knowing he would be an asset to the firm and the project. Paul is a team player, a great mentor, with a excellent comprehensive technical understanding of construction and adaptability with 'cool' approach to tackling tasks. I would welcome the opportunity to work with him again.
