I was lucky enough to work with Paul from my first days at Grove - his experience in managing development and deployment projects was (and still is) invaluable. The biggest project where I worked with Paul was the Haymarket Google Apps deployment, where he was the project lead, doing migration and technical work as well as arranging training, change management, project management etc. at the same time. He's a friendly, focussed and highly-skilled IT pro, and a fun person to work with too.

      My role as Regional Deployment Manager involved the scoping, planning, managing and delivery of all deployments within the United Kingdom and rest of Europe. This included being involved in all pre-sales consulting sessions as well as post-sale customer training. Our core offering at the time was in the SaaS space with a focus on Collaboration, Messaging, Security, Consultancy and Marketing. As Deployment Manager my job was to tailor a detailed plan in which we best used our products and expertise to help companies move from traditional information silos, to a more collaborative and open way of working. This not only helped them gain efficiencies and cost savings across all business units, but also allowed them to be more creative in dealing with any future business challenges and projects, so the plan had to include strategies in which the products would continue to provide year on year value to the company. As a result of our diverse product offering and the nature of collaboration as a whole, my job often meant delivering different products across different business units spanning multiple offices around the world as is the case when dealing with multinational organizations. Above all I believe my most important task as Deployment Manager was building solid and trusting relationships with our client’s right from day 1. Without the right people, no project can be delivered successfully.
