      • Jun 2015 - Present

Using RocketScan, an in-house software program with a Microsoft SQL background, I update and edit the current databases containing students and their applications for free and reduced school lunches, servicing school districts nationwide. As part of the Software Support Team, I am responsible for scanning, preparing and uploading the applications in order for the school districts to process their applications. Additionally, I create an audit CD and backup their database for the previous school year in a process called the Year Rollover in which their server is enabled to accept applications for the upcoming year.

Working in the book department and the warehouse, I gained on the job training using the computing system PRISM in order to locate, shelf or order a book. I was hired at the beginning of the semester and therefore was required to immediately adapt to the work environment with minimal training and a lot of freedom to resolve things on my own. Course Hero is an online document based study tool for collegiate students. As an intern, networking was the main skill I walked away with, as uploading the required number of documents became more and more dependent upon the uploads of other students via my referral.
