I recently decided to move my accounting from a spreadsheet system to Xero. After contracting a local 'Xero Specialist Company' to help me with the set-up, I quickly realised the advice I was given was not suitable and would spiral in overcharged bills a substandard service. Having known Paul for a few years, I decided to give him a call to see if he could help me out. Straight away, Paul offered to come and see me and in only 2 hours explained in plain English the ins and outs of using Xero. I heartily recommend Paul to company or individual who needs help with their accounting/bookkeeping whether it is with Xero, Sage or any other system. Paul explains everything really clearly, he is is very professional, efficient and his costs are very reasonable too. I will be using Paul again very soon to help out with management accounts and setting-up reporting. Thanks again Paul.

I progressed from doing Sole Trader & Partnership accounts to Payroll, VAT, Auditing and then moved to Taxation and Tax Returns for the last 3 years. I enjoyed my time at Essex Abel and was sad to leave. They have excellent staff and provide a good quality service to their clients and would recommend them to any local business.
